KARI JOBE AND CODY CARNES ARE COMING TO EUROPE IN 2023 FOR WORSHIP CONCERTS!
Artists come and go, but rarely does someone stand out with such a unique combination of passion, vision and talent. Kari Jobe attracted attention from her very first musical steps. With her voice, she soon convinced thousands. And now she is the voice of a generation. This worship leader will be coming to the Netherlands and Belgium for concerts in Rotterdam, Veenendaal and Brussels. Her husband Cody Carnes will also join her, providing the support act.
What immediately stood out when Kari Jobe was introduced to ‘the general public’ in 2009 was her voice. Sensitive, flawless and passionate at the same time. She broke through with her self-titled album, and immediately showed her heart for worship. Since then, she has become one of the world’s best-known worship leaders. She was nominated for a Grammy Award and sang with the likes of Gateway Worship, Elevation Worship and her husband (and worship leader) Cody Carnes. As much as some of her songs became well-known, nothing could have predicted the phenomenon of ‘The Blessing’. Kari Jobe unveiled the song as a co-writer during the pandemic, and it became an anthem of believers and congregations around the world. Kari’s most recent album, named after the song, was released two years ago and showcased the spontaneous, passionate worship she is now known for.
Kari married Cody Carnes in 2014. The couple met at Gateway Church, where Jobe joined the team. It wasn’t long before Cody presented a worship album of his own: ‘The Darker The Night / The Brighter The Morning’. The subsequent single ‘Run To The Father’ earned him a Grammy nomination, as did Kari. His most recent live album ‘God Is Good!’ shows the synergy between him and his wife. Both do not skimp on the passion in music, and are focused on God in everything – yielding songs that people sing along with at the top of their lungs.
